About The Position

Global Dimensions is seeking Russian linguists for positions at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Linguists will provide foreign language interpretation and translation/transcription services to support user Counter-Intelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) requirements and other high priority tasks supporting real world operations pursuant to the mission. The objective is to provide accurate, complete, and trusted interpretation and translation of data from a variety of sources. In support of these missions, contractor linguists shall cover a wide range of styles and subjects. Typical examples would include contracts and laws; treaties and international agreements on technical, scientific, military, economic, and cultural subjects; training manuals; court documents; political speeches and position papers; slide presentations; and official correspondence between government leaders. Other work assigned to contractors includes on-site support for meetings or conferences, summarizing documents, reviewing translations, and ascertaining the substantive conformity of texts written in two or more languages (comparisons).

Requirements

  • US Citizenship only (dual citizenship is not permitted).
  • Current TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  • CI, HUMINT, SIGINT or OSINT experience.
  • MEDEX, CELLEX or DOMEX experience.
  • Ability to score 3/3 ILR in target language and English.

Responsibilities

  • Provide foreign language interpretation and translation/transcription services.
  • Support user Counter-Intelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) requirements.
  • Support high priority tasks for real-world operations.
  • Cull out actionable data to facilitate successful execution of the mission.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and trusted interpretation and translation of data from a variety of sources.
  • Cover a wide range of styles and subjects including contracts, laws, treaties, international agreements, training manuals, court documents, political speeches, position papers, slide presentations, and official correspondence.
  • Provide on-site support for meetings or conferences.
  • Summarize documents.
  • Review translations.
  • Ascertain the substantive conformity of texts written in two or more languages (comparisons).
