About The Position
Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) Specialist will support its awards in the areas of data/interoperability, behavioral health, and workforce. The Specialist will serve in a visible and trusted role by supporting MPCA and its Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) members in key areas of rural health-focused work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with 1-2 years of relevant training or experience.
- Requires experience in administration, organization, communication, and project management.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Michigan rural health needs preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manages and coordinates the three Rural Health Transformation programs, including project planning, deliverable tracking, timeline management, stakeholder coordination, and program administration.
- Develops surveys for health center applications and progress reports.
- Completes and submits contractual, compliance, and progress reporting requirements to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services on time.
- Coordinates payment processes and invoice development.
- Supports the Rural Health Transformation community through Higher Logic, MPCA newsletters, email, and other communication channels.
- Responds to health center questions and coordinate with colleagues to provide timely information and support.
- Identifies technical assistance needs among participating health centers and help coordinate appropriate resources.
- Provides internal coordination between all Rural Health Transformation projects.
