About The Position

This role involves assembling and packaging various running gear product lines. Key responsibilities include managing inventory levels via the company intranet, ordering and stocking materials as needed, and delivering finished products to the loading dock. The position requires regular cross-training and rotation within the department. The assembler must be willing to work overtime, including 10-12 hour days and occasional Saturdays, to meet customer demand, while maintaining efficiency and quality standards. Flexibility to work in other areas of Components may be necessary based on workload within the Division.

Requirements

  • Must be a team player.
  • Self-starter.

  • Customer Service oriented/minded.
  • Safety & quality conscious.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to use hand tools for assembly.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. repeatedly.
  • Ability to stand for up to 12 hrs.
  • Forklift certification / driving.

Nice To Haves

  • Willing to work overtime, 10-12hr days with occasional Saturday overtime when needed to meet customer's demand.
  • Willing to work in other areas of Components, when necessary, based on workload and needs within the Division.

  • Understanding and being responsible for material ordering and managing target levels.
  • Meeting production cycle time expectations for each assembly.
  • Reading blueprints to ensure product is assembled and packaged to print.
