About The Position

This position involves operating pallet jack equipment to move pallets and product within the warehouse, adhering to all safety standards and company policies. Key responsibilities include moving pallets to shipping doors, relocating them to storage locations, identifying and preparing products for picking, and ensuring pallets are properly wrapped. Additional duties may include operating a wrap machine and pallet inverter, and potentially working with other machinery.

Requirements

Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud.

Responsibilities

Operate pallet jack equipment to move pallets and product from one place to another while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Use pallet jack equipment to move the pallet to the scheduled door to ship.
Move pallets from the inbound dock door to locations inside the warehouse to be put away.
Find products requested in work orders.
Change over pallets for picking, visually review items for damages or flaws; document and report damages to lead/supervisor.
Confirm all pallets being hauled into the warehouse or dock doors are wrapped to the top.
Wrap pallets using a wrap machine, based on location.
Invert pallets using a pallet inverter, based on location.
May work with other machinery and material handling equipment.
