About The Position
Maximum Quality Foods, Inc. is an independent foodservice distributor located in Linden, NJ. Family Owned and operated for 50 years, we are proud to service all of New York, New Jersey, and Delaware, as well as parts of Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. The Runner/Lumper is responsible for selecting products before being loaded onto the truck for delivery. The position is not exempt from overtime provisions and shall be entitled to overtime compensation for hours worked more than 40 in any one work week. The Runner/Lumper shall be accountable and supervised by the Warehouse Manager.
Requirements
- Pallet jack experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Offload inbound trucks when arriving at the warehouse dock.
- Sort and distribute palletized products for storage by using a pallet jack or forklift.
- Wrap boxes into pallets and stock them.
- Communicate with receivers for daily workload.
- Keep work area tidy by picking up scrap wood, paper, plastic wrappers, and broken pallets.
- Comply with safety policy and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
