Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability and willingness to train and mentor employees using work instructions and hands-on guidance.
  • Experience with basic hand tools.
  • Working knowledge of production scheduling.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, bills of materials, production schedules, and blueprints.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, Excel, and QNova.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with crane and forklift operation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day supervision to the Final Test group.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the group.
  • Keep the Quality Manager informed of all issues affecting the performance of the department, product quality, or delivery.
  • Coordinate department work schedule according to the needs of the production schedule.
  • Responsible for ensuring department quality procedures are documented accurately and are followed by all department members.
  • Utilize an amp meter and a Flluke meter to ensure proper function of the unit.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Support production needs as directed by management.
  • Assist in coordinating day-to-day activities to meet production goals efficiently by establishing and monitoring performance to standard.
  • Assist in initiating and following up on Engineering/BOM changes, NCM, and material discrepancy procedures.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor and improve product delivery, quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Conflict resolution.
  • Maintain ISO standards and quality assurance practices.
  • Administrative duties include, but are not limited to: charging labor hours, completing SIC’s, holding daily tier meetings, updating the schedule, and managing the QMS dashboard.
  • Communicate quality and personnel issues to the Quality Manager in a timely manner.
  • Be able to perform all the duties of the Final Tester position.
