Sherwood Park - Run Club Leader
About The Position
We are looking for an active runner to lead the Sherwood Park Running Room Run Club every Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM. Run Club leaders provide support to fellow members, aiming to create an inclusive environment where no one is left behind. Leaders will send two weekly emails to participants with Run Club details, Running Room events, and meet-up information. The role involves meeting at the Sherwood Park Running Room store every Wednesday evening, organizing participants into pace and/or distance groups, and leading these groups on runs to ensure everyone has a companion. Run Club leaders also have the opportunity to create themed Run Club nights. This role is an extension of the Running Room’s philosophy on running, fostering a community where individuals of all skill levels can gather to enjoy running, meet new people, make friendships, and achieve personal goals.
Requirements
- Comfortable running 6-8km.
- Active runner.

Responsibilities
