About The Position
Design, build, and maintain scalable features across a production Rails application Develop and maintain REST or GraphQL APIs Write and review well-tested, maintainable code Optimize application performance and database queries Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and other engineering teams
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience working with Ruby on Rails
- Strong command of Ruby and object-oriented design principles
- Solid experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Experience designing and maintaining production-grade APIs
- Familiarity with background job processing tools such as Sidekiq
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with frontend technologies such as Angular or React
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Knowledge of containerization and CI/CD tooling
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams
