RT Assistant - Call-Out Work
About The Position
Acuren is currently recruiting for RT Assistants for call-out work to support our operation in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Call-out work requires employees to depart from the Tulsa shop and travel to job sites on short notice. RT Assistants will assist in performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results. While we welcome applications from all qualified individuals, local candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to have experience, credentials and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
- Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
- Local to Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounding area (within approximately a 40-mile radius) Call-out work requires employees to depart from the Tulsa shop and travel to job sites on short notice.
Nice To Haves
- Some college preferred
- Technical background desired
- TWIC card preferred
Responsibilities
- Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
- Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
- Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
- Record results of inspections
- Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
- Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management
