About The Position
Sign Solutions is seeking passionate and qualified RSLI/TSLI British Sign Language Interpreters to join our growing team in Bristol. We provide essential interpreting and translation services to the Deaf community across the UK, aiming to combat inequality and break down communication barriers. This role involves providing BSL interpreting services, primarily within the medical sector in the Bristol/South West region, but may also extend to private and public sector clients and individual Deaf clients. There is also an opportunity to work on our InterpretersLive! service for pre-booked and on-demand assignments. Requirements
- NRCPD registration
- RSLI /TSLI
- Enhanced DBS
- A full driving licence is essential
- UK resident and have permission to work in the UK
- Hold or undertake a DBS check
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in medical sector is desirable
Responsibilities
- To undertake face to face interpreting assignments
- To undertake video interpreting assignments
- To deliver high quality BSL/English interpreting services to all clients
- To report to Head Interpreter and Line Manager
- To maintain CPD
- To abide by NRCPD code of conduct
- To work well within the interpreting team
