Under minimal supervision, repair and overhaul internal and external aircraft assemblies, subassemblies and components in accordance with Gulfstream Repair Station requirements. This role requires advanced skills in administration and use of procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment appropriate to the area of specialization. The technician will independently perform repairs of mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies through removals, repair or replacement of defective parts, fabrication of replacement parts, and installations in accordance with blueprints, component maintenance manuals, vendor documents, verbal instructions, engineering dispositions, and other authorized maintenance data. All activities must comply with Repair Station requirements, ensuring parts and assemblies meet conformance. The role also involves setting up and operating test equipment, inspecting detail parts, removing and reinstalling skins and components, demonstrating expertise in repair techniques including troubleshooting and soldering, and maintaining paperwork in accordance with FAA Repair Station requirements. A clean and orderly work area and compliance with environmental health and safety regulations are also expected.
