About The Position

This position requires an RRT with a Washington license in hand. The role involves floating between units, with a requirement for every other weekend and approved 48-hour work weeks. Special requirements include floor care, ER, code response, and rapid response. The position also involves managing various medication delivery systems, ventilator management, and airway management devices. Experience in the Emergency Department and Pediatrics is expected, along with professional knowledge in interpreting Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) and oxygen therapy. Additional skills in trauma and rapid response are also necessary.

Manage medication delivery systems (Aerosol setup mask, Aerosol setup trach, Medihaler, Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI))
Administer medications (Albuterol, Atrovent, Bicarbonate, Combivent, Flovent Inhaled, Isuprel, Ketamine, Lidocaine, Mucomyst, Nitric Oxide (INo), Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Theophylline, Tobramycin, Xopenex)
Manage ventilators (BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation)
Perform airway management (Extubation, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oral/nasal Suctioning)
Provide pulmonary hygiene (Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy care/management)
Administer nebulizer treatments (Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar)
Interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
Provide oxygen therapy
Provide Trach collar treatments
