About The Position

This is a safety-sensitive, full-time position involving rotating day shifts. The role encompasses general respiratory therapies on hospital floors, ICU work including ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and ER therapies. The responsibilities include providing proper treatments, therapies, and education for both in- and out-patients according to prescribed schedules, physician orders, competencies, and protocols. The position requires comfort working in an ICU, an Emergency Department, and treating all age groups.

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification.
• Comfortable working in an ICU.
• Comfortable working in an Emergency Department.
• Ability to treat all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide general respiratory therapies on hospital floors.
• Perform ICU work including managing ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP.
• Administer ER therapies.
• Provide proper treatment/therapies and education for in- and out-patients.
• Follow prescribed schedules, physician orders, competencies, and protocols.
• Treat all age groups.
