About The Position
Join Medbridge Healthcare as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) in the Sound A Sleep center located in the Saginaw, MI region. Play a vital role in sleep studies, helping improve patient outcomes through accurate data collection and high-quality patient care. Full time and Part time positions available. Pay is $21-35 per hour DOE
Requirements
- Current RPSGT certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting sleep studies.
- Proficiency with sleep study software and equipment.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work overnight and flexible hours as needed.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
Nice To Haves
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct overnight, daytime, or home sleep studies on patients.
- Analyze and score sleep data accurately using specialized software.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients during studies.
- Provide detailed reports and summaries of sleep data to physicians.
- Educate patients on sleep study procedures and ensure comfort.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical equipment issues as needed.
