Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience (Right of Way Assistant)
- 2-5 years of experience (Right of Way Agent)
- 5+ years of experience (Senior Right of Way Agent)
- Pass a background check
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities
- Handle administrative tasks
- Use mail merge for legal documents
- Perform basic title and land rights research
- Research corporations, officers/agents, and property owner contacts
- Apply self-checking quality control
- Participate in regular project meetings
- Provide additional administrative support as assigned
- Negotiate uncomplicated partial and total property acquisitions in compliance with the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Act of 1970 (Uniform Act)
- Obtain land use and regulatory permits required for capital projects
- Negotiate complex partial and total property acquisitions in compliance with the Uniform Act
- Obtain complicated land use and regulatory permits required for capital projects
- Prepare property valuations in accordance with regulations
- Mentor Right of Way Assistants and Agents
- Transition into a Right of Way Agent role aligned with experience and performance
- Transition into a Senior Right of Way Agent role aligned with experience and performance
- Transition into a project manager role aligned with experience and performance
