About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Roving Personal Banker (SAFE) for their National Branch Network as part of the Consumer Banking and Lending division. This role involves providing support across various branch locations within a specific geography, covering for absent bankers or tellers, or temporarily filling vacancies. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and new surroundings while consistently meeting customer needs. The position focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach, proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers achieve financial success. Responsibilities also include assisting customers with basic requests such as opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications. The role requires developing an understanding of bank products and services to effectively connect with customer needs and referring customers to other bankers and partners when necessary. This SAFE position involves customer contact and duties that may include offering/negotiating terms and/or taking applications for dwelling-secured transactions, requiring compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations.

Requirements

6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations, including acceptable background investigation results
Meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO)
Ability to travel 100% of the time within the district
Commute to the assigned location(s) for the duration of the branch assignment
Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
Maintains cash drawer, cash handling and balancing and spends time completing service-related tasks as needed
This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
Requires SAFE registration at the time of employment
Meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies, including financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards

Support customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints

Develop understanding of bank products and services to connect to customers' needs
Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships
Provide appropriate options for bank products and services to customer
Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed
