About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Roving Personal Banker (SAFE) for their National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role will support the districts in Alaska, and temporary housing can be provided through September 30, 2026. The position involves providing support across various branch locations within a specific geography, adapting to changing priorities, and meeting customer needs. It focuses on delivering exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach, proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially, and assisting with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications. The role requires receiving direction from managers, exercising judgment within defined policies, developing an understanding of bank products and services, interacting with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships, providing appropriate options for bank products and services, and referring customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed. This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction, requiring compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations, including meeting Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations
  • Meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO)
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time within the Alaska districts
  • Commute to the assigned location(s) for the duration of the branch assignment (reimbursement for mileage is provided)
  • Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
  • Maintains cash drawer, cash handling and balancing and spends time completing service-related tasks as needed
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • SAFE registration at the time of employment
  • Meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies (including meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards)
  • Meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary

  • Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Support customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints
