About The Position

The Roving Leasing Consultant is responsible for supporting leasing efforts at Affinity-managed multi-family apartment communities in Kennewick, Washington. This role involves advertising and promoting properties, managing leads using industry-specific software, conducting tours for prospective and current residents, and completing the full lease process. The consultant will also ensure compliance with renter's insurance, maintain occupancy rates, and facilitate rent collection. Additionally, they will engage with tenants professionally, escalate issues to the Property Manager, and assist with resident events. The position requires approximately 80% of time spent in an office environment and 20% inspecting property grounds, which may involve physical activity.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of customer service and sales experience
  • Reliable transportation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrates teamwork, good hygiene, ethical behavior and integrity, excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to multi-task, resolve conflicts, and ambition for continuous professional development

Responsibilities

  • Advertise and promote the property
  • Utilize industry specific software for lead management
  • Provide tours to prospective and current residents
  • Complete full cycle lease process with prospective residents
  • Ensure compliance with renter’s insurance
  • Maintain resident occupancy of 95%
  • Ensure the timely collection of rent and other ancillary revenue
  • Engage with your prospective and current tenants using a professional and courteous approach
  • Escalate tenant relation issues to Property Manager
  • Facilitate resident events
  • Comply with all Fair Housing and Equal Housing Opportunities requirements
  • Comply with appropriate state landlord/tenant statutes
  • Attend training and development seminars
  • Other duties as assigned by Property Manager
