About The Position

CONAM Management is seeking a Roving Community Manager to oversee the operations and management of conventional apartment communities for the Arizona Region in Phoenix, AZ. This role is critical in maintaining high standards of resident satisfaction, apartment maintenance, marketing, and financial performance across multiple properties. The position is full-time with comprehensive benefits and offers a pay range of $30.00 - $32.00 per hour.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in property management, specifically in managing luxury / conventional apartment communities.
  • Hands-on experience in overseeing the daily operations of a multi-family apartment community, with strong leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and rent collections specific to apartment communities.
  • Proficient with property management software, such as Yardi and/or MRI, particularly in managing apartment records and financials.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to effectively engage with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing operations.
  • Passionate about delivering top-tier customer service and fostering a positive community for residents.
  • Physically able to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of conventional multi-family apartment communities, ensuring properties are safe, well-maintained, and welcoming.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise on-site apartment staff, providing guidance on customer service, leasing, and resident relations.
  • Manage the leasing process, including marketing, conducting tours, processing applications, and executing leases.
  • Ensure financial performance by creating and maintaining budgets, preparing financial reports, and monitoring expenditures.
  • Conduct regular interior and exterior inspections to ensure community maintenance and compliance with standards.
  • Administer resident programs and services to build a strong community and maintain high resident satisfaction.
  • Oversee renovations, including interior and exterior updates, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with housing regulations.
  • Handle resident concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Prepare and submit annual operating budgets and conduct quarterly budget reviews.
  • Maintain records for all resident transactions, including move-ins, move-outs, rent collections, and renewals.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment, working with corporate leadership and staff to achieve community goals.
  • Support Regional Management by maintaining compliance and performance standards.
  • Drive for business purposes, including bank deposits, purchasing community supplies, and conducting competitive analysis of neighboring communities.
