About The Position

Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services, has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized, business-minded individual to assist in all areas of Dogtopia as a Rover. This role will be cross-trained as a Canine Coach and Front Desk Coordinator. The ideal candidate should love dogs, and upon successful completion of training, may bring their own dog to work.

• Knowledgeable on pricing and services.
• Must be able to bring own dog to work upon successful completion of training.

• Education in basic dog obedience and training.

Responsibilities

• Support playroom staff with day-to-day tasks.
• Proper use of crate time and spray bottle.
• Perform meal prep with little or no guidance.
• Store daycare and boarding belongings properly with correct labels.
• Coach others with positive feedback and hold them accountable.
• Keep playrooms clean of messes at all times, including mopping, sweeping, trash removal, and water refills.
• Be proactive in ensuring dogs are always in a clean and safe environment.
• Bathe and nail clip dogs when needed.
• Identify dog breeds and behaviors.
• Report dog scuffles immediately for safe wound cleaning if needed.
• Work with the team to assure Quality of Care sets the standards for dog care.
• Work cohesively with their team in a respectful and professional manner.
• Be knowledgeable on pricing and services.
• Strive for high customer review ratings by always smiling for the cameras and engaging in safe play.
• Work with all customers, furry friends, and team members to ensure Dogtopia sets the highest standards and satisfaction of safety and fun.
