About The Position

American Exchange Group is an industry leader in fashion accessory products and brand management, distributing products to major retailers internationally through its recognized, private-label, and licensed brands. AELogistix/Shiplogiq is hiring an onsite Routing & Logistics Supervisor for its distribution and order fulfillment warehouse in Perris, California. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this supervisor oversees daily routing operations and leads a small logistics team. The role coordinates routing activities and shipments for major retail clients, including Target, Walmart, JCPenney, and Kohl’s, while ensuring accuracy, compliance with retail routing guides, timely document transmission, and continuous process improvement. The position requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills and experience in routing and shipping.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in routing, logistics, or transportation coordination/supervision.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory role, as stated in the position summary.
• Proven shipping and routing experience with major retail customers; experience with Target, Walmart, JCPenney, and Kohl’s is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of EDI processes and retail routing compliance.
• Skill in shipment planning, volume calculations, and documentation preparation.
• Experience leading or training team members in a logistics or warehouse environment.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize under time-sensitive conditions.
• Excellent computer skills, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication, analytical, decision-making, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• U.S. work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the routing and logistics team in daily operations.
• Route pickups and deliveries for major retail clients, including Target, Walmart, JCPenney, and Kohl’s.
• Verify and approve routing details, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
• Calculate cubed dimensions and shipment volumes.
• Review and generate Bills of Lading, packing lists, and shipping labels.
• Oversee EDI transactions, including 753/754 and others, and ensure timely document transmission.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, and customer service departments to meet shipping schedules.
• Maintain and enforce routing standards to support efficient, on-time, and cost-effective shipments.
• Identify process improvements to optimize logistics performance and workflow efficiency.
