The Routing Coordinator will be responsible for creating and optimizing driver routes, managing real-time delivery and same-day service requests, and collaborating with other departments to handle a variety of challenges that may occur from day to day. All with a focus in enhancing operational efficiency. You will also be tasked with learning our fleet, assets, and customer-specific needs to ensure seamless coordination. Additionally, you’ll track and present key metrics in team meetings to drive performance improvements.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Teams, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • A relevant college degree or two years of equivalent work experience in routing, logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in pulling and interpreting performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of the geography of the state of Florida, particularly within Doodie Calls' service areas, is required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
  • A positive attitude, with a drive to grow within the company.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize routes for drivers using ServiceCore, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Manage emergency delivery requests and adjust routes to meet service needs as they arise.
  • Learn and understand the capabilities of our drivers, trucks, and other assets to ensure effective allocation of resources.
  • Gain site-specific and client-specific knowledge to better coordinate services tailored to each location’s unique requirements.
  • Pull and analyze key performance metrics related to route timing and efficiency, sharing insights in weekly team meetings.
  • Address customer complaints in real time, collaborating with the customer service team to ensure rapid resolution.
  • Work closely with scheduling, routing, dispatch, and customer service teams to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Ensure that all tasks are completed by the end of each workday, as this role requires all daily responsibilities to be fulfilled without carryover.
