About The Position

The primary function of this position is to schedule and sequence routes in a timely, accurate and efficient manner using computerized programs. We are looking for a Router who is ready to grow their career while supporting our transportation operations.

Requirements

Minimum of six months of routing, transportation, logistics, or related administrative experience required.
Strong computer skills including data entry, spreadsheets, report generation, and transportation software.
Basic math skills.
Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to resolve routine transportation issues independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Ability to work scheduled hours and overtime as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Utilize routing software to assign customer orders to delivery routes and appropriate trucks.
Balance trailer loads by weight, size, and pallet configuration to maximize efficiency.
Build cost-effective routes while maintaining customer service requirements.
Collaborate with Transportation, Warehouse, and Sales teams to ensure delivery feasibility.
Prepare and maintain daily routing reports, route change requests, sequence change requests, and new customer requests.
Maintain routing system parameters within routing software, including RoadNet and other transportation systems.
Monitor routing efficiency and recommend improvements when appropriate.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
