About The Position

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for a Router Supervisor at our Colonial Heights, VA. Service Center to manage dock and dispatch operations. This is a full-time position with a yearly salary of $70,000, working the 3rd Shift, Monday – Friday from 1:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Employees earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment.

Requirements

• Proven basic leadership experience
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Organizational / Communication/ and Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred
• Computer skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of the City, and surrounding areas

Nice To Haves

• Prior LTL leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Driver and Freight Handler Management
• Coordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler scheduling
• Ensure Safety Compliance
• Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed
• Timely dispatching of LTL Loads
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager
