About The Position

This employee assigned as Router Operator must be qualified to safely and efficiently set up and operate machinery, interpret schedules and efficiently handle the materials associated with the department. This person will prepare particle core for Lay Up processes.

Requirements

• Required PPE: Safety glasses and ear plugs
• Must follow all safety rules for using the Jump Saw, Table Saw, and Band Chopper.
• Must attend all other required OSHA safety training
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to read and maintain accurate tape measure to 1/32”
• Must know and understand the product code, batch tickets, and production schedules.
• Must be able to identify the size and type of materials used in the assembly process.
• Must ensure that all doors are built with the proper materials.
• Must maintain a clean and safe working area at all times.
• Must clean and maintain glue spreaders, x-lifts, and pits on a daily basis.
• Must contact supervisor or maintenance if any mechanical problems occur.
• Must be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently set up and operate machinery.
• Interpret schedules and efficiently handle materials.
• Prepare particle core for Lay Up processes.
• Maintain at least 100% efficiency at all times with a high degree of accuracy.
• Build 51 doors per 15min. 1100 doors per 8hrs.
• Read and maintain accurate tape measure to 1/32”. Check tape measure weekly.
• Know and understand the product code, batch tickets, and production schedules.
• Identify the size and type of materials used in the assembly process.
• Ensure that all doors are built with the proper materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times.
• Clean and maintain glue spreaders, x-lifts, and pits on a daily basis.
• Contact supervisor or maintenance if any mechanical problems occur.
• Be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by group manager.
