About The Position
HM Richards, a 27-year-old upholstery and furniture manufacturing company focused on expansion, is seeking a Router Operator for its Guntown, MS location. The company is committed to making beautiful furniture while reducing its environmental footprint through planet-friendly materials and processes. The Router Operator is responsible for operating a Router to cut sheets of plywood according to the daily production schedule.
Requirements
- Knowledge about assembly line type environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to submit to a Drug test and background investigation
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Reports to the router each morning, and turns on the power.
- Receives job packet, and reviews daily schedule.
- Picks job order in computer, and selects which job to run.
- Finds and selects job to cut.
- Lifts sheet of plywood and loads onto area to be cut.
- Places excess wood onto conveyor for proper disposal.
- Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
