About The Position

Leadpoint Business Services is seeking a dynamic leader for a Route Support Supervisor position. This Supervisory position implements workforce management programs and has overall accountability for the performance of Leadpoint’s team at the assigned location. Responsibilities include program implementation, personnel management, and operations. In this leadership role, you’ll work as a liaison between the workforce, client and Leadpoint’s support personnel. You’ll also perform additional functions like customer service and communication across the workforce; hiring and recruiting of employees; HR administrative tasks; troubleshooting and resolution of performance issues; data tracking and reporting of individual KPIs; and safety program management. The ideal candidate would be a great fit for this job by showcasing competency in leadership, communication, detail orientation, and problem solving. This supervisory position includes supervision of a team of direct reports. Experience in route management is required.

Requirements

  • Clean MVR record & valid Drivers License
  • Computer Proficiency – Microsoft Office
  • Interpersonal Skills: Proficient communicator capable of effectively engaging with driver helpers, support staff, department managers, and senior management to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operations
  • Leadership Skills: Inspiring leader adept at motivating and empowering team members to maintain operational efficiency and meet performance targets in the dynamic environment of residential recycling routes.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Quick-thinking problem solver with the ability to identify and address issues such as route disruptions and defects to minimize impact on service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Time Management: Efficient time manager skilled in prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively to meet tight deadlines inherent in the daily operations of residential recycling routes.
  • Technical Capacity: Possesses hands-on experience and technical expertise relevant to the waste and recycling industry, including familiarity with labor efficiency, enabling effective troubleshooting and optimization of operations and related processes.
  • Learning Orientation: Demonstrates commitment to continuous learning and skill development, evidenced by the ability to adapt to new technologies, processes, and organizational practices. Focused on fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, adoption, and accountability for skills transfer within the team.
  • Route management experience is required.
