About The Position

As a Route Service Supervisor you’ll lead and work alongside a team of Route Service Representatives who service a diverse portfolio of customers each day, from small family-owned businesses to large corporate locations. This is an entry-level supervisor opportunity designed for career-minded individuals eager to grow, develop leadership skills, and advance within a stable, customer-focused organization.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • Must meet all Ministry of Transportation requirements.
  • High school diploma or CAEC is required.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset and providing excellent customer service.
  • A hands-on, relationship-focused supervisor who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to support the team and, most importantly, the customer.
  • Enjoys working closely with a team of Route Service Representatives, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as they grow in their roles.
  • Comfortable using and learning new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and improve customer experience.
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 50 lbs., with the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership, customer service, route sales, delivery, and/or entrepreneurial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the training and development of a team of Route Service Representatives
  • Provide route coverage during Route Service Representative absences (e.g., illness or vacation), offering hands-on support while assessing performance and customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Respond to customer service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Negotiate customer contract renewals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and team members
  • Collaborate closely with leadership and management to deliver best-in-class customer service and product programs
