About The Position
The Route Service Representative is responsible for the timely, efficient, and professional delivery and pickup of linens, uniforms, and related products to our customers. This position ensures customer satisfaction by maintaining a high standard of service, building strong relationships with clients, and always representing Economy Linen in a professional manner.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Strong customer service skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a delivery or route service role
- Familiarity with the local delivery area
Responsibilities
- Deliver and pick up customer orders according to assigned routes and schedules.
- Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
- Verify counts of items delivered and picked up, document discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and customer interactions.
- Ensure company vehicles are operated safely, maintained, and kept clean.
- Communicate customer feedback, concerns, and service issues to the Route Manager.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly and professionally to customer needs.
- Uphold all safety, DOT, and company policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
