About The Position

GENDA Americas, the leading amusement vending service with 55,000+ machines in 15,000+ locations nationwide, is seeking a passionate merchandiser who thrives independently and delivers results. As a Retail Merchandiser, you will drive a company vehicle to several locations on a designated route each day, cleaning amusement machines (cranes, gumball machines, video games) inside and out. You will merchandise products to ensure visual appeal and playability, count pieces for playability, and collect cash, coin, and tokens. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting machine issues, utilizing Tech Support, accounting for the security of money, machines, and merchandise, maintaining professional relationships with locations, and detailed record keeping. Overnight travel is required 1-2 times per month during the week. Occasionally, you may support other Field staff with installing and removing equipment.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license
  • Strong general mathematical skills
  • Cell phone and basic computer skills required, including ability to text, email, and use a variety of apps on your company iPhone
  • Solid organization skills in managing paperwork, tools, parts, etc.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment motor vehicle record check, criminal background check and 4 panel drug screen
  • Regular, reliable attendance required

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform basic machine repair strongly preferred
  • Efficient at managing a workload with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Drive your company vehicle to several locations on a designated route each day
  • Clean amusement machines inside and out – this includes cranes, gumball machines and video games
  • Merchandise the product in the machine to make sure it is visually appealing and ready to be played. Counting the number of pieces in the machine is critical for playability
  • Collect cash, coin and tokens from machines. You may also be responsible for preparing a daily deposit of monies collected
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues the machine may be having and utilize Tech Support as needed
  • Account for the security of all money, machines, and merchandise on the route
  • Establish and maintain professional relationship with locations and staff
  • Detailed record keeping of all meters
  • Overnight travel required 1 - 2 per month during the week
  • Occasionally you may need to support other Field staff with installing and removing equipment from locations
