About The Position

Franz Family Bakery, founded in 1906, is a successful bakery in the Pacific Northwest producing a variety of baked products under premium labels. We are seeking a reliable, safe, and highly organized Route Sales Representative to join our fast-paced team. The successful candidate will effectively communicate with various individuals and maintain bakery products in assigned stores.

Requirements

• Full-time position with availability to work between 4 a.m. and 6 p.m. weekdays and weekends.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar merchandising and/or route sales position.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and obtain a DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record and provision of a current driving abstract from the department of licensing if called for an interview.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and maneuver large bulky racks of product.
• Highly organized, fast-paced, and able to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals both inside and outside the organization.
• Proven work history of being reliable, safe, and positive.
• Uphold the Franz core values.
• Must be a member of Teamsters Local 117 or willing to join.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the bread/bakery/food industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining bakery products in assigned stores, including stocking shelves, rotating outdated products, and facing products.
• Ensuring a neat and orderly appearance of all assigned bakery products.
• Driving a company vehicle to deliver products to customer locations.
• Loading and unloading product in the company-issued vehicle, including pushing/pulling racks and trays of bakery products.
• Performing additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
