This role is with Flowers Bakeries Sales of SoCal, LLC and is a high-performing Route Sales Representative position responsible for ordering, sales, and delivery of fresh baked products.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Have had a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
Must have a valid state driver’s license and documented safe driving record.
Must meet Fleet Insurance Guidelines.
Must adhere to federal, state, and local rules regarding the operation of a CMV.
Must execute the best practices of RSR training (after 4-week company paid training).
Must be able to push or pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

Nice To Haves

Sales experience.
Delivery driver experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Ordering, sales, and delivery of fresh baked products.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Check delivery vehicle daily, keeping accurate records, quickly reporting maintenance issues, and filling out daily driver’s logs, time logs, and hours of service.
Increase sales by expanding shelf space, creatively displaying in-store promotions and displays.
Maximize product shelf life by properly rotating products.
Use data and marketing plans to build relationships and drive customer growth through effective communication, planning, ordering, and execution.
Work together with the customers to increase sales and drive customer satisfaction.
Service accounts during the customer’s designated service windows and may need to work non-traditional business hours to complete deliveries.
Gain knowledge and skills about the industry.
Work independently and as a team in a DSD (Direct Store Delivery) environment.
