About The Position

This position involves delivering New England's bulky rolls and other bread products to retail, restaurant, and institutional channel businesses on a pre-determined established route. The role is based out of the Worcester distribution Depot and requires operating a box truck. The chosen candidate will be responsible for ensuring customers receive orders on time and in the correct quantities, managing time-sensitive deliveries, and assuring fresh product conditions in retail outlets. This is a full-time position with a base salary plus commission, and offers Sundays and most Wednesdays off. Previous experience is preferred but not required, and no CDL is needed. Excellent benefits are provided, including vacation (PTO) and holiday pay, plus a free package of bread daily.

Requirements

Ability to perform physical requirements of the position, including lifting a minimum of 25 lbs
Must be at least 21 years of age
Minimum 1 year of DSD service or sales experience
Have a clean driving record
Pass criminal background check
Pass drug test
Ability to climb repeatedly, stand, and sit for long periods of time
Reach overhead on a regular basis
Obtain a DOT medical card

Execute established Company safety, sales, and marketing strategies
Operate Company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
Report to work on time, including early mornings, to meet business needs
Maintain close working relationships and communication with Depot Manager, Supervisors, and customers
Accurately account for product received and sold, and revenues generated or received
Participate in all activities set out by the company in support of the Food Safety Modernization Act
Support and follow Food Safety and Food Defense programs
