Route Sales Representative (Woodside, NY)
About The Position
As a Carvel Route Sales Delivery Driver, you will be fully responsible for the direct store delivery of quality products to our supermarket accounts. Carvel is part of the Rich’s family of brands. Route Sales Delivery Drivers are full-time positions that are responsible for selling and delivering Carvel & Rich’s complete line of high-quality frozen goods to existing and new accounts while driving a Carvel Truck. Key goals include safety, sales and credit volume, customer service and in-store merchandising execution. Route Sales Delivery Drivers hours of work vary by assigned route. The route start time will start as early as 3am and averages 10-12 stops a day - this is subject to change at any time. Must be able to work Saturday's during peak season.
Requirements
- Minimally 21 years of age
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
- Able to climb in and out of the truck and carry goods that can weigh up to 50 pounds
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Lift 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Strong work ethic and a team player who puts the customer first
- A CDL-B permit is preferred prior to start. The fee will be reimbursed 30 days after you start and have obtained your CDL-B license (which we also pay for).
- Previous DSD experience is a bonus
