About The Position

Franz Family Bakery, founded in 1906 in the Pacific Northwest, is a successful bakery employing over 4,000 people and distributing products across multiple states. They are seeking a Route Sales Representative to join their fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safe, and highly organized, with strong communication skills.

Requirements

• Full-time position with availability between 4 a.m. and 6 p.m. weekdays and weekends.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar merchandising and/or route sales position.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and obtain a DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record and provide a current driving abstract.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly, plus maneuver large bulky racks of product.
• Highly organized, fast-paced, and able to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals.
• Proven work history of being reliable, safe, and positive.
• Must uphold the Franz core values.
• This is a union position with Teamsters Local 117.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in bread/bakery/food industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining bakery products in assigned stores, including stocking shelves, rotating outdated products, facing products, and maintaining a neat appearance.
• Drive company vehicle to deliver product to customer locations.
• Responsible for loading and unloading product in company issued vehicle, including pushing/pulling racks and trays of bakery products.
• Additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
