Route Sales Representative

As a leading Direct Store Delivery (DSD) distributor, we proudly supply nationally recognized and regional brands of ice cream, frozen pizza, and frozen prepared foods to grocery and retail partners throughout a 19-state service area. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated Route Sales Representative to join our team in the Kansas City, MO area.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must meet all DOT medical certification, drug, and alcohol testing requirements
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, DOT physical, drug screen, and have a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR)
Nice To Haves
- CDL preferred, but not required
- Previous DSD, grocery, food distribution, or route sales experience is a plus, but not required
- Experience using handheld delivery devices is preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver frozen food products safely and accurately to established retail accounts
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through outstanding service
- Merchandise products and maintain attractive displays as needed
- Utilize handheld technology to complete deliveries and manage inventory
- Rotate products and ensure quality standards are met
- Represent Cold Front Distribution with professionalism and integrity every day
