About The Position
Alpha Baking Company, Inc. is hiring a route salesman/driver based out of its Appleton, Wisconsin depot. The role is responsible for ordering and delivering products to retail customer accounts in a timely manner, merchandising products, providing customer service, handling collections, and managing route inventory. Employees work independently while managing their time and productivity. Work begins in very early morning hours, includes Saturdays, and requires driving and working in all weather conditions.
Requirements
- Excellent driving record.
- Ability to maintain D.O.T. certification.
- Ability to pass a background screening.
- Ability to pass a post-offer DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and use a dolly.
- Ability to work and drive in rain, sleet, snow, and wind.
- Ability to start work in very early morning hours and work on Saturdays.

- Prior route delivery and sales experience is helpful.
