Build a career that keeps you close to home. Oakhurst Dairy is adding a tractor-trailer driver to our local route sales delivery team. This opportunity is an excellent fit for a motivated, hardworking professional who enjoys working independently, values variety throughout the day, and takes pride in dependable service. This position features a brand-new four-day workweek rotation with early-morning start times, two consecutive days off, and a rotating schedule that includes weekends off. Our Portland-based management team coordinates driver schedules, routes, and process improvements locally, working to build schedules that support both the operation and our team members. Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Existing or ability to obtain a DOT medical Card
Operational Knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and regulations

Nice To Haves

Delivery type job experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Local daily routes that depart from and return to the Portland work location each day.
Driver-friendly delivery format with most deliveries made at loading docks, very little liftgate work, and no ramps.
Ability to perform safe pre/post trip inspections in accordance with DOT standards
Good communication skills and ability to interface positively with customers
Ability to lift up 50 lbs and safely climb in and out of a tractor and trailer
Able to operate handheld/mobile computers to transact sales & delivery documents
