About The Position

This role is responsible for merchandising, stocking, and ensuring the proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays to guarantee the best quality and freshness. The Route Rider drives sales by securing new display space, setting up incremental displays, and using sales data to inform store-level strategies. They will also follow up on new account opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and ensure the execution of promotions. Introducing new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and when pursuing new customers is also a key responsibility. The role includes conducting daily route settlement procedures to account for all products, invoices, and cash while maintaining proper inventory counts. Safely driving the company route truck and completing DOT daily logs, along with submitting other required documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time, are also essential functions.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.
Successfully able to obtain Chauffer License (If job location is in IN, MI, TN).
Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as perform frequent reaching and use of fingers.
Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations, the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.

Nice To Haves

1-3 years of related experience in DSD (Direct Sales Distribution) is preferred.

Responsibilities
