About The Position

The Chesterman Company, an independent Coca-Cola Bottler, is seeking a Seasonal Route Relief employee to maximize customer service and efficiently transport and deliver product. The company has been making quality beverages for the Midwest since 1872 and supplies them from 14 distribution centers across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.

Requirements

• High-School Diploma/GED
• No experience necessary – on the job training is performed
• Valid driver ’s license
• Good driving record
• Must be able to meet all DOT physical requirements

• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English to be able to communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Be consistent with delivery day and time
• Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources and verify instructions and route
• Deliver product and pick up all empties and damaged product
• Accurately maintain cash collected, truck inventory, invoices, forms and related paperwork
• Responsible for first-line maintenance and cleanliness of company vehicle
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
