About The Position

Cold Front Distribution is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Route Relief Driver to join their Albuquerque team. This position supports sales and delivery routes throughout the district, ensuring customers receive outstanding service. Cold Front Distribution is a leading Direct Store Delivery (DSD) distributor supplying nationally recognized and regional brands of ice cream, frozen pizza, and frozen prepared foods to grocery and retail partners across a 19-state region.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certificate.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent customer service skills.
• Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends as business needs require.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous sales, merchandising, delivery, or route experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide relief coverage for sales and delivery routes as needed.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while servicing grocery and retail accounts.
• Assist with sales, merchandising, product rotation, and deliveries.
• Complete planograms, merchandising resets, and promotional displays.
• Develop new customer accounts and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Conduct monthly business reviews with assigned retail accounts when applicable.
• Support district sales goals and overall business objectives.
• Assist in training new employees and support ongoing development of sales staff.
• Learn and perform all route functions within the district.
• Promote safe driving and safe work practices at all times.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable DOT, federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
• Assist with coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Respond to warehouse and freezer temperature monitoring alerts when required.
