About The Position
Wallwork Truck Center, a subsidiary company of Wallwork Inc., is currently searching for a Route Parts Delivery candidate to join our team! (M-F 8am-5pm/pay $45,000/yr.) The Route Parts Delivery position is responsible for delivering parts to the various business locations in surrounding area; submitting parts orders for all designated customers; as needed, verify and review all deliveries to ensure customers receive correct orders. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of a high school diploma or the equivalent and a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. The selected applicant is required to be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report upon hire. Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Valid commercial driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must maintain a professional personal appearance.
- No supervisory responsibilities required with this position.
- The selected applicant is required to be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Some overnight travel may be required as needed.
Responsibilities
- Service assigned customers on route, until daily delivery requirements are fulfilled.
- Submit parts orders for all designated customers; as needed.
- Verify and review all deliveries to ensure customers receive correct orders.
- Completes core battery, warranty, and new part returns per Company policy.
- Local delivery of parts to customers on designated route; must be able to load and unload necessary parts.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable).
- Must be capable of working under pressure, work independently, and have the ability to handle stressful situations that may arise.
- Customarily and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment to meet the needs of the company, employees, and/or customers.
- Follow up with sales, coordinate returns, and overall customer service.
- Services existing accounts, obtains and follows up on orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential new accounts.
- Completes vehicle safety checks per Company policy and operates the vehicle within safety guidelines; immediately reports any safety concerns or Company Policy violations to management.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
- Performs Wallwork, Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.
- Upholds Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrate the behavioral and service expectations as defined in our policies and procedures.
