About The Position

The Route Operations Specialist is a member of the Local Purveyor’s leadership team and is responsible for managing office operations and compliance within the route. Under general supervision of the Local Purveyor, the Route Operations Specialist manages back office functions for the route including collections and payment processing, Selling Event compliance, and general office. This role requires a demonstrated passion for the Brand, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability exercise sound judgment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; including basic math and reasoning
3+ years of experience working in an office environment, A/P or A/R experience a plus
High school math competency, basic reasoning and computer skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
Proficient in QuickBooks
Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours
Ability to bend, twist, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
Ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.; push or pull objects up to 600 lbs.
Ability to speak, read, and write the English language

Responsibilities

Manage the Selling Event schedule to ensure compliance with required schedule
Supervises the Brand Concierge and Premium Advantage team to ensure proper training, scheduling, communication, supplies, etc.
Create Go-Spot-Check missions for events
Support Local Purveyor with collections and payment processing
Call on customers as requested by the Local Purveyor
Manage personnel matters for route as required including DOT forms and new hire paperwork
Responsible for overall direction of warehouse operations including: Leading, directing, and supervising the activities of warehouse and/or delivery employees.
Proper execution of delivery receiving, product rotation (FIFO), and order fulfilment.
Validation of final order processing, scale operation, and customer invoicing.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company health and safety regulations.
Responsible for FSMA recordkeeping for warehouse operations.
Adhere to preventative maintenance schedules for warehouse equipment
Responsible for completing and validating inventory control processes including: Conducting weekly physical count and placing weekly FB order
Confirming inventory movement, adjusting for changes (e.g. sale or focus items), and adjusting inventory levels to reduce shrink and minimize out of stock items
Researching/authorizing credit memos and destruction of out of date product
Assists the Local Purveyor with identifying qualified candidates for openings within the route.
