About The Position

Signature Retail Services is seeking an experienced merchandiser for a Part-Time Route Merchandising Associate role in the Providence, RI market. This position offers flexibility to build a schedule around other commitments and provides paid, hands-on training. The role involves traveling to big box Home Improvement stores to build displays, execute planograms, support seasonal resets, and maintain store appearance. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, enjoy working independently, and take pride in their work.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Located within approximately 30 minutes of the assigned territory.
Proof of a valid driver's license and current auto insurance, in which you are listed as an insured driver.
Access to a reliable personal vehicle to travel between store locations on your route.
A smartphone with phone, text, email, and internet access for daily communication and reporting.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and ladder use.
Ability to regularly lift and move materials or products weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Previous merchandising experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Travel independently throughout your assigned territory using your personal vehicle to service store locations.
Conduct store audits, execute product resets, merchandise products, and maintain planogram compliance.
Install price labels, point-of-purchase materials, fixtures, and displays to make products look their best.
Down-stock merchandise, maintain shelf conditions, and keep products fully stocked and customer-ready.
Partner with store personnel to check inventory levels, flag replenishment needs, and place product orders as needed.
Be the go-to product expert for store associates and customers, answering questions and sharing product knowledge.
Represent Signature Retail Services and our client partners professionally in every store you visit.
Show up reliably and manage your schedule so your visits and projects are completed on time, every time.
Communicate promptly about attendance, scheduling, or anything that could affect a store visit, and consistently meet the service standards our clients count on.
