About The Position

Green Zone Recycling is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Route Manager to join our growing Durham team. In this position, your work directly supports our drivers, customers, and overall operational success. Every route you create helps maximize efficiency, improve service, and strengthen our growing organization.

Requirements

• Experience in routing, logistics, transportation, or dispatch operations
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• High attention to detail
• Willingness to complete pre-employment assessments

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
• Experience with Route4Me, Samsara, or similar routing platforms

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize daily driver routes
• Create and maintain driver schedules
• Monitor route performance and driver progress
• Analyze operational metrics and report results to management
• Investigate and resolve route discrepancies or service issues
• Utilize routing software such as Route4Me, Samsara, or similar systems
• Identify opportunities to improve routing efficiency and operational processes
• Perform data entry and administrative tasks
• Communicate effectively with drivers, management, and customers
