About The Position

Darling Ingredients is looking to hire a Route Driver in the Wellman, IA area. This route delivery position earns competitive pay, Class A CDL $30.42/Class B CDL $29.26 plus OT. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old
Authorized to work in the US
Valid Class A or Class B CDL license
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Customer service skills
Can communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
Highly organized with superior time management skills
Can maintain composure in difficult situations
Easily adapt to changes and work well with others

Nice To Haves

Tanker endorsement preferred, but not required
Two years of experience operating a commercial vehicle in a route delivery setting
Experience with truck hydraulics

Responsibilities

Collecting and transporting raw materials from our broad customer base back to facilities and transfer stations.
Collecting materials from multiple customers along your route each day.
Managing your route with an onboard computer (OBC) and keeping an up-to-date backup paper log for compliance purposes.
Keeping your truck clean and completing a vehicle condition report on a daily basis.
Providing exceptional professional service to all customers.
Following all laws and regulations.
