About The Position

Our Newport, RI depot is looking for our next route driving rockstar. Our commercial truck drivers have a schedule that consists of 4 10-hour shifts throughout the week. The start time can be anywhere between 3 am and 6 am. This is a local route, so you'll be able to be home every night. Our drivers have a starting hourly rate between $30-$31.50 per hour. Drivers are paid weekly, direct deposit on Fridays.

Requirements

• A valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License.
• Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience with your CDL.
• Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement (or willingness to get Tanker Endorsement prior to your start date).
• Good driving record. Safety risk rating within Mahoney acceptable standards.
• DOT certified medical card.
• The ability to lift, push or pull 100 lbs. on a repetitive basis

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and relay any customer concerns to your manager in a timely fashion.
• Handle 2" to 3" hoses pumping out grease trap materials unto truck.
• Clean area around tanks.
• Operate box truck or pick up and drop off containers as needed.
• Stay current on all Mahoney Safety trainings.
• Maintain a good driving record within Mahoney acceptable standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
