About The Position

This position is responsible for the pickup of feed and forage samples from designated drop boxes in the area and delivering to Dairyland Laboratories, Inc. in Warners, NY. The role is part-time, scheduled for 12-15 hours a week, and is ideal for someone looking for extra income and enjoys driving.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license
Good driving record that meets our insurance company requirements
Must provide proof of adequate vehicle insurance on personal vehicle

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Pickup and delivery of feed and forage samples from designated drop boxes on a route schedule to be delivered to Dairyland Labs in Warners, NY, in a timely manner.
Ensure samples are at the lab between 8:00-8:30, Tuesday through Friday.
Perform initial check of all samples, verifying account numbers and names on boxes, and ensuring information sheets are filled out and accompany samples.
Keep mailers and supplies stocked at all box locations.
Visually inspect drop boxes on a daily basis, ensuring they are clean and well maintained.
Maintain records of samples picked up and delivered each day.
Maintain communications with all customers on the route schedule.
Communicate with supervisor on any issues or comments.
Be flexible to adjust route schedule to meet customer’s needs.
Continue to look for other opportunities to gain new business.
Responsible for personal safety and safe driving practices.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Communicate effectively with customers.
Make additional route stops if needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
