About The Position

Crystal Clean, a nationwide leader in environmental and waste services, is growing fast and hiring motivated Antifreeze Sales & Service Representatives to join our team. This is a local route where you will be home every night. We offer a sign-on bonus of up to $2,000, and a six-month training period with guaranteed pay of $1,100/week. If you want a role that blends sales, hands-on service, and daily variety, this is your opportunity. The Antifreeze Sales and Service Rep (AFSR) will be responsible for applying sales strategies in an effort to grow HCC’s antifreeze business at new and existing customer sites. The AFSR will also be responsible for performing HCC services at customer facilities. Service responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: handling of pump hoses, pumping of antifreeze containers, and operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle on a daily basis. This position may also require the picking up of waste drums of varying sizes and weights using HCC-approved material handling equipment.

Requirements

  • Customer-focused with strong communication skills
  • Comfortable operating equipment and electronic devices
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Class B CDL, Med Card, Airbrake, Tanker, and HAZMAT preferred
  • Able to maneuver hoses weighing up to 40 lbs and moving products in and out of trucks (with proper safety equipment)
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to interact with customers, sales branch employees, and other corporate departments
  • Ability to operate equipment such as electronic mobile devices, computers, hoses, all truck equipment, etc.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have or be qualified to obtain and maintain a Class B Commercial Dr

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow your territory by building strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Deliver new antifreeze, recycled antifreeze, collect used antifreeze, and related tasks.
  • Spot opportunities, recommend services, and boost earnings through performance.
  • Plan efficient routes, stay safe, and represent Crystal Clean with professionalism.
  • Engage in and promote safe work behaviors consistent with all HCC safety guidelines.
  • Customer service and new business development in a certain geographic area.
  • Align work orders to minimize mileage and travel time.
  • Inspect vehicle and equipment for safe operation.
  • Service existing customers by delivering new antifreeze, recycled antifreeze, collecting used antifreeze, and related tasks.
  • Pursue additional services with existing accounts.
  • Assess potential customer needs, present HCC products and services to customers, and develop new customers.
  • Develop sales leads for Data-Marketing.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and neatly.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
  • Achieve sales quotas for total revenue and new customer development.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies and standards including but not limited to environmental, health, & safety (EHS), human resources, facility, equipment, operations and maintenance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
