About The Position

This is a full-time Route Driver position focused on maintaining proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro markets, vending machines, and OCS (Office Coffee Service). The role requires providing excellent client and customer satisfaction, performing routine cleaning and minor service on machines, and ensuring trucks are properly loaded for daily routes. The driver will also be responsible for informing clients of new products, resolving service complaints, setting up merchandise displays, managing receipts and cash, performing product rotation, conducting inventory reconciliation, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the company vehicle. Safety and professionalism are paramount in all job functions.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and good driving record.
  • 3 years driving experience required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
  • Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (box carts, handcarts, etc.).
  • Able to work independently, responsible for route, work unsupervised 98% of the work day.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred 1-2 years of experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of machines and other related equipment.
  • Conduct minor service and adjustments on machines, reporting defective equipment as needed.
  • Ensure truck is properly loaded with all product required to service scheduled micro markets and machines.
  • Inform regular clients and customers of new products or services, and resolve service complaints.
  • Report all client and/or customer complaints to immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
  • Accountable for all receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected and product.
  • Perform product rotation to ensure freshness of products.
  • Conduct inventory reconciliation in accordance with district procedures.
  • Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre & post trip vehicle inspections.
  • Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
